Adapteo procurement services: decisions in order

China sourcing support for modular buildings, organized around the records a buyer can review and approve.

01

Supplier matching

Start with intended occupancy and destination rather than a catalogue photograph. A screening record should identify the proposed supplier entity, relevant building-system experience, available drawings and the documents still missing. We coordinate requests for evidence; inclusion in a shortlist does not establish engineering approval or certify a production facility. Local wind, snow and seismic criteria must come from the appointed project professionals.

02

Quotation comparison

Normalize inclusions before comparing totals. Record steel grade, coating specification, sandwich panel core and thickness, floor loading assumptions, MEP preinstallation, packing and installation exclusions in a quotation comparison matrix. A low module price may exclude a corridor, foundations or HVAC commissioning. Currency, Incoterms and quotation validity must be stated by the supplier so commercial decisions use the same scope.

03

Sample coordination

Request a panel junction sample, finish sample or representative assembly when the buying decision depends on construction detail. Agree who pays for preparation, transport and testing before proceeding. A small sample can clarify workmanship and material selection, but cannot demonstrate the structural performance of a complete building. Retain a reference identifier linking the accepted sample to the approved specification.

04

Quality inspection coordination

Define hold points against the purchase specification: dimensional checks, coating records, concealed MEP work and packing identification are possible review items. The buyer and inspection party agree sampling, access and acceptance criteria. Findings should name the module, drawing revision and open nonconformity. An inspection visit does not replace design calculations, statutory approval or system-level fire testing.

05

Consolidation and export coordination

Coordinate the packing list, module identifiers and available shipping documents with supplier and freight parties. Transport envelopes, road permits, lifting plans and destination unloading are distinct responsibilities. Consolidation feasibility depends on cargo compatibility and shipment timing; it is not assumed. Before dispatch, reconcile outstanding document requests and record who accepts any remaining action at the contractual handover point.

Turn an outline into a reviewable RFQ

Attach the current drawing revision and identify the person responsible for technical approval. We can then coordinate a defined sourcing scope.
